Founder-led software partner for private capital

We partner with private capital teams to turn their context into production AI

From investor targeting and portfolio monitoring to internal research workflows, controlthrive helps firms turn high-context processes into systems people can actually use and trust.

Where we usually help

A narrower wedge, built for real workflows.

The work is most effective when the team already knows the process matters, but needs a partner who can make the software path concrete without flattening the business logic.

Investor coverage and targeting

We build workflows that help advisory and capital formation teams move from scattered deal context to ranked investor coverage with reasoning people can review.

That usually means combining source material, relationship memory, and decision rules in one system that stays usable under real deadlines.

Portfolio monitoring and research workflows

We design dashboards, alerting layers, and evidence-linked review tools that help teams act faster without losing the underlying context.

The goal is not a black box. The goal is a workflow where the signal, source material, and next action still make sense to the team using it.

Internal operating systems for deal teams

From internal tooling to decision support systems, we shape software around how a team already works instead of asking them to adopt a new operating religion.

Founder-led continuity helps the system survive contact with the real process, not just the scoped idea.

Selected work

Private capital workflows, made operational.

These are the kinds of systems we build when investor teams, research groups, and advisory operators need software that respects source material and still moves quickly.

Client perspective

Built for teams that want a partner, not a pitch.

The work tends to land best when the team needs a clear technical counterpart who can stay close to the workflow, explain tradeoffs plainly, and ship something people actually trust.

“Servando is unusually strong at operating in ambiguity. He can take raw, unfiltered business context, understand the underlying need, and move into execution fast without needing a lot of process, templates, or back-and-forth clarification. What makes him especially valuable is that he combines high agency, real business understanding, and strong AI engineering capability. He quickly grasped the complexity of MVV's business and delivered not only software that addressed it, but also a true 1:1 partnership and technical guidance across every stage of development.”

Misha Vasilchikov Managing Partner, MVV Capital Partners

“Servando has a great knack for data science and for building ML systems that stand up in real-world environments. We worked on recommendation systems together.”

“Servando helped our team at Orange transform complex datasets into actionable business insights that directly informed our strategic decisions and enhanced operational efficiency. His proactive approach to identifying improvement areas and implementing AI solutions consistently delivered measurable value to stakeholders.”

Pedro San Inocencio Director, Orange

“Servando developed from scratch a AI-matching solution that formed the core of our data processing capabilities, demonstrating strong technical skills and a structured approach that directly contributed to project success. The solutions lead to 70%+ reduction in duplicates and +1 FTE worth of manual effort eliminated.”

Kamil Kapturkiewicz Founder, Databris

“Servando helped improved our lending algorithms and helped us find high impact issues in our fraud system. His contributions delivered high-impact results that made a real difference to our business outcomes.”

My approach is built on high agency, deep ownership, and a bias toward tangible outcomes. Responsibility means staying with the work until there is a real result: something shipped, improved, clarified, automated, or made useful. I do not believe in vague promises or work that sounds impressive but never becomes value someone can actually feel.

The business comes first. Tools are secondary. What matters is understanding the business context deeply enough to operate almost like an extension of the team: absorbing the domain knowledge, translating it into systems, and sharing progress repeatedly.

The best companies are becoming living knowledge bases. Every conversation, transcript, Slack message, decision, and customer interaction becomes part of the shared context that can help the product improve. My job is to capture that context and turn it into useful artifacts, workflows, and products that compound over time.

The goal matters more than the plan. Building has become faster, more fluid, and more dynamic, so alignment is everything. Once the destination is clear, the path can adapt quickly.

The strongest partnerships are long-term ones where both sides are genuinely on the same side: thinking clearly, moving fast, and building something that keeps getting better.

Built for trust

A quieter way to make software decisions feel safer.

The point is to help a team move with more confidence, not to hide the process behind a louder interface or a vague promise about AI.

Source-linked outputs

The systems are designed so teams can still see the reasoning, supporting material, and tradeoffs behind an output before they act on it.

Founder continuity

The same person who scopes the workflow stays close through delivery, which keeps decisions clearer and reduces handoff noise.

Built for day-to-day use

The goal is not a polished demo. The goal is software that holds up when a real team uses it under pressure and over time.

Next step

If the workflow matters, the software path should feel clear.

Bring the investor coverage, monitoring, or internal workflow you are trying to improve. We can sort out what deserves a product, what needs a lighter layer, and how to move without adding more noise.
